AID WORKERS INVOLVED IN

MAJOR SECURITY INCIDENTS

HUMANITARIAN WORKERS KILLED IN 2024, THE HIGHEST NUMBER EVER RECORDED

AID WORKERS KIDNAPPED IN 2024,

NOT INCLUDING MISSIONARIES

Too valuable to lose.

Missionaries and humanitarians carry out invaluable work in places few others are willing to go. Their presence brings stability, aid, and hope to communities that desperately need it. They are not easily replaced. Each one represents years of experience, deep commitment, and hard-earned trust within the communities they serve. Losing even one is a loss our world can't afford. They deserve the best training and resources available for contingency response.

This is our mission.

What we do

Regional information & Threat assessments

We provide concise, relevant, and actionable information for any environment. This includes detailed threat and risk assessments that clearly identify key issues, evaluate their likelihood and potential impact on team and mission, and deliver practical recommendations to strengthen contingency planning and daily decision-making.

Contingency Action Planning

We create detailed contingency action plans that coordinate organizational and individual actions before, during, and after a crisis occurs. Based on relevant regional information and threats, these plans often contain information for medical emergencies, evacuations, security postures, and more.

Incident Support

A range of services providing direct support to individuals and organizations during and after a crisis, from coordinating response efforts to post-incident mental health support.

Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT)

Training designed to prepare individuals for work in hire-risk areas. Includes classroom instruction and hands on, scenario based training in personal safety, situational awareness, decision making, travel security, kidnap & hostage survival, first aid & trauma care, and emergency communications. We offer generic classes and classes coupled with our regional assessments and contingency action plans that tailor the instruction to an individual or teams specific situation.

Who we are

With more than 50 years of combined experience in high-risk personnel recovery and survival operations worldwide, our team has supported and led operations on every inhabited continent. Time and again we encountered missionaries and humanitarian workers operating in dangerous environments with little to no specialized training or support. This recurring reality inspired us to create an organization that adapts our proven expertise in survival, evasion, and recovery to meet the unique needs of aid and mission organizations. We founded IPG to equip those serving in the hardest places with the tools and training they need to stay safe while pursuing their mission.
